Packaging Design
Overview:
Braid n' Bakes is dedicated to crafting artisanal pretzels that intertwine quality ingredients, traditional baking techniques, and innovative flavors to create a delightful snacking experience for their customers.
Project Goals & Objectives:
This design was created for the Packaging Design class at Labette Community College. I received the dielines for this project along with the parameters to develop three distinct flavors for this brand. The brand name was a collaborative effort by the class. Each student then had to come up with their own designs and interpretations of the name “Braid n’ Bakes.”
Process:
After designing the packaging in Adobe Illustrator, I mocked up the design using Adobe Photoshop with a mockup that was provided. The design focuses on minimalist elements and letting the product speak for itself. I wanted to use a simple and modern design approach to be able to cater to all demographics. I developed a pattern using shape of a pretzel that was repeated at slightly different transparencies. Something that I had to remember when designing a food product is all of the important labeling information. Always have to check and make sure that the right information is correctly displayed.
